Enclosure Structure

High Voltage Chamber:

The primary high voltage chamber is the heart of the substation, housing a high-voltage ring main unit. It features high-voltage switches that support sulfur hexafluoride load switches and vacuum circuit breakers. This high-voltage cabinet is essential for safeguarding the transformer against potential short circuits, overloads, and other electrical anomalies.

 

Transformer Chamber:

The three-phase transformer chamber is versatile, accommodating both dry-type and liquid (oil) immersed transformers. It includes a sophisticated ventilation system with adjustable temperature settings. Safety is paramount with live space barriers in place, preventing accidental contact during observation.

 

Low Voltage Chamber:

The secondary low voltage chamber is available in two configurations: with or without a corridor. It can be outfitted with metering cabinets, main incoming cabinets, outgoing cabinets, capacitor cabinets, and interlocking cabinets (for dual transformers), delivering comprehensive low-voltage switchgear functionality. Capacitive reactive power compensation typically ranges from 15% to 30% of the transformer capacity.
